About Me

Katherine Nesbitt has a degree in Communication from Arizona State University. Her first experience in published writing was maintaining a blog from 2011-2020. While most of her work blogging has been archived you can still navigate to some of those early works on this site under the blogs page. 

Katherine published her first novella in 2021. Greatly affected by the Covid lockdown that historical event became the basis for J: A Singularity Storie. The following year in 2022 she published DeJaVu the first book in the DeJaVu series. In 2024 she published a collection of poetry entitled Poetic Stories. Each piece in Poetic Stories is written as short story. Some of these stories draw on Katherine’s own experiences, some inspiration comes from the stories of others and some stories are completely made up. 

Katherine was greatly influenced by Shel Silverstein, Gorge Orwell and Veronica Roth. When writing Katherine likes to think about her characters as pieces on a chess board. Each character is unique with their own personality, motives and goals. When these characters come to life the story unfolds. She enjoys: cooking, playing cards, yoga, coffee chats, writing letters and feeding ducks at the park.
